PAGEANT and fashion lovers braved the cold July 11 Tuesday and packed City Sports Bar for the Miss Winter 2017 pageant.
While the likes of Miss Tourism Zimbabwe and Miss World Zimbabwe have stringent rules for entering beauty pageants, modelling competitions in nightclubs are open to anyone who thinks they have what it takes.

And so, the downtown club saw women of all shapes and sizes taking to the stage in different categories that made up the beauty competition.
“Every Tuesday it is ladies night so this time around we thought of celebrating the beauty of the African woman by hosting the Miss Winter pageant,” commented City Sports Bar manager Mathias Bangure.

Hosts of the event Andy Kayz and Sarah D gave away tokens to the ladies who attended the show. The contest consisted of three categories; outrageous wear, winter wear and evening dressing.
Methrotrudilater Lkptswe was crowned queen with Adijah Tiki being first princess and Mitchelle Moyo adjudged Miss Personality.
