Chill Spot frontman Arnold ‘DJ Fantan’ Kamudyariwa has taken legal action by approaching the Harare Civil Court in a bid to secure access to his two minor children, who are currently under the custody of his ex-wife, Gamuchirai Nemukuyu.
DJ Fantan and Gamuchirai are set to address the custody arrangement for their children during a hearing scheduled for February 27 at the Civil Court.
In his court application, DJ Fantan alleges that Gamuchirai has been preventing him from seeing his children.

However, Gamuchirai responded to the allegations, stating that Fantan had conflicts with her new partner.
“Yes, I received a summons to appear in court.
“He frequently visits and on one occasion, he had a confrontation with my new partner.
“He needs to respect my space and allow me to move forward, especially since he chose to end our marriage for another woman.
“He is disrupting my relationship with my partner. Regarding the children, one can simply check his social media profiles to see photos of him with the kids.
“He has the time to pursue custody of children for whom he hasn’t even bothered to obtain birth certificates.
