DJ Ribhe, a prominent music producer at Chillspot Records, was granted bail after the State consented to his application, following revelations of inconsistencies in the teenage victim’s statements. The 14-year-old alleged victim initially didn’t mention rape in her first statement but later claimed her drink was spiked and she was raped.
Justice Regis Dembure, overseeing the case, approved DJ Ribhe’s $100 bail, ordering him to relocate to a new address in Glen View and report to the police weekly. DJ Ribhe must also avoid interfering with State witnesses. His lawyer, Advocate Sylvester Hashiti, represented him throughout the bail hearing.
