Overview:
The Flemish Ministry of Education offers Master Mind Scholarships to exceptional students worldwide to pursue master’s programs in Flanders and Brussels. This initiative aims to showcase Flanders and Brussels as premier study destinations.

Target Group:
International students from all countries except Russia. Scholarships are specifically allocated for students from certain countries: Japan (3), Mexico (3), Palestine (2), USA (5).
Scholarship Value/Duration:
The Master Mind Scholarship provides a €10,000 grant plus a tuition fee waiver per academic year. Scholarship recipients only need to pay an administrative enrollment fee.
The scholarship covers one academic year for a Master’s program of 60 ECTS and two academic years for a Master’s program of 120 ECTS.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must apply for a Master’s degree program at a Flemish host institution.
- Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic performance or potential with a GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0.
- Proficiency in English language is required (specific requirements available on the official website).
- Applicants must be accepted by the host institution to receive the scholarship.
- Only one nomination per applicant is allowed by a Flemish higher education institution.
- All nationalities, except Russian, are eligible. Previous degrees must be obtained from institutions outside Flanders.
- Students currently enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution are not eligible.

Application Instructions:
Applicants cannot apply directly. Applications must be submitted to the host institution, which will preselect eligible candidates. The application must be submitted online by the Flemish host institution by the deadline of 28 April 2023, 23:59 GMT+1. Applicants should check the internal deadlines set by the Flemish Host Institution, which vary between 1 February and 31 March 2024.
