South African energy goddess Makhadzi and JAH Prayzah have forged a successful alliance.
When she visited for the JamAfro Festival held at the Alex Sports Club earlier this year, the two recorded a song that hasn’t yet been released.
Makhadzi implored Jah Prayzah for a collaboration after her performances, and the two camps met and discussed a strategy.
Makhadzi is scheduled to return to Zimbabwe later this month to continue her tour there.
Makhadzi’s arrival was confirmed by Dee Nosh, co-director of 2 Kings Entertainment.
“When Makhadzi visited Zimbabwe for a concert earlier this year, he fell in love with the country.
“She indicated her wish to collaborate with Jah Prayzah on a musical endeavor, and it appears that they have struck a deal.
Come October 22, we’ll host her at the Odyssey Hotel in Kadoma during her stay.
According to Dee Nosh, she posted a musical video on several social media sites announcing her coming.
Makhadzi’s visit, according to the award-winning promoter, was also a component of their efforts to promote Kadoma.
“Several promoters frequently showcase foreign performers in major cities like Harare and Bulawayo.
If all the logistics are in place, huge stars can also perform in little towns like Kadoma, Chinhoyi, and Masvingo.
“We have hosted foreign performers in Kadoma before, such as Mafikizolo, and Makhadzi’s performance is a strong indication that we will continue to do so in the so-called little towns,” he continued.
According to Dee Nosh, with all eyes on the duo, other musicians must take inspiration from them and recognize the strength of their synergy.
Last weekend, Freeman and Chris Martin worked together on one of his songs from the album David & Goliath, demonstrating the strength of synergies.
The Cheaters Prayer actor traveled to Zimbabwe for the performance and made a cameo appearance.
The same is anticipated of Makhadzi and Jah Prayzah.
