His band also impressed with their synchronized choreography and dance routines, delivering a memorable show despite the poor sound quality.

Marcy Janyure, accompanied by her band, The Black Things, was the first to take the stage. She entertained the audience with a mix of her original Afro-fusion tracks especially  from her new album Ndini and some popular cover songs, showcasing her vocal versatility and stage presence. Her performance set the tone for the night, leaving the crowd eager for more.

Tatenda Pinjisi also performed at the event, giving a solid performance, though the technical difficulties with the sound system hampered the full impact of his set.

While the performances were stellar, many Chegutu residents expressed frustration over the $5 gate fee, which they deemed too high. As a result, many resorted to standing outside the venue, listening to the music from beyond the walls.

Pa 20 Truck Stop offers high-standard lodges equipped with solar backups and showers, catering to the needs of both truckers and travelers. The facility also boasts a convenience store and a leisure bar, where guests can enjoy sports or play pool table games. Its freshly braaied chicken and sadza proved to be a hit, with long queues forming as patrons patiently waited for their orders.
