Zimbabwean rapper and entrepreneur, Mudiwa Hood, recently came to the defense of Paradzai Messi, an artist accused of theft, after social media criticized him for sharing pictures and videos of himself buying clothes and groceries for Paradzai.
Mudiwa fulfilled his pledges to Paradzai of helping him revive his career, which was on the verge of collapsing.
Despite his efforts, some criticized Mudiwa for sharing pictures and videos with Paradzai, showing what he had bought for him.
However, Mudiwa argued that while people had no problem laughing and mocking Paradzai when he was in handcuffs, they were quick to criticize him when he tried to restore Paradzai’s dignity on the same platform.
In a video posted on social media, Mudiwa declared that the allegations against Paradzai were untrue and that he was being unfairly targeted. He called out those who criticized him for helping Paradzai, saying that they did not see anything wrong with publicly embarrassing and calling Paradzai names.
