Peter Moyo to Join Big Fish in Hwange

This weekend the festivities are in Hwange where Zim’s finest from different genres will be sharing their talents with Hwange stars at the annual Makomo Music festival.

Rising star Peter Dewa Moyo will be joining his elders Leonard Zhakata, Winky D, Aleck Macheso, Kwejani Band and Winky D at Hwange stadium on Friday 6 October.

“I am happy to be part of such a huge event playing alongside such big names, it is a good thing for my brand with these experienced cadres, surely i’m humbled,” said Peter Moyo.

He is planning to let his coal mining town sample his brand new offering Mopao Mokonzi.

“Besides the music show families from the communiy will get a chance to tour the Makomo Resources Coal Mine where they are also going to be entertained and a cocktail to add to the fun,” reported Eusabia Rayire of Eumo Promotions who is the lady behind the festival.

Makomo Resources is the main sponsor of this annual event which also uplifts local small businesses who will be catering for the show goers.

This is the seventh edition of this gala as the mine celebrates seven years in business last year recorded a whooping 5000 people in attendance with the Charambas stealing hearts.
