ZimParks

Sindiso Ndlovu (42) from Maphisa, Kezi, Matabeleland South, has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for murdering her husband after being convicted by the High Court.

The court sitting in Bulawayo convicted her as defined in Section 47 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act, Chapter 9:23.

“It is alleged that on October 19, 2019 in Maphisa, the accused person set her husband, Busani Ncube, ablaze, intending to kill him”, said the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe in a press release.

The accused person and the now-deceased had a misunderstanding in their bedroom over Ncube’s
infidelity.

Ndlovu is said to have locked the door while they were inside and doused the now-deceased with petrol before setting him ablaze.

The matter was reported to the police, leading to the arrest of the accused person.

The now-deceased was taken to Maphisa District Hospital, and he was later referred to United Bulawayo Hospital for further management. He succumbed to injuries on January 8, 2020.

Kudakwashe’s house was invaded by yet-to-be known people who ransacked the house and left live bullets in his bedroom.

According to ZimLive, on June 25, an intruder whom police are dubbing the “ghost raider” left six cartridges—three outside Mnangagwa’s main bedroom door and three on the lawn outside the double-story property on Camel Road, which is guarded by two police officers.

The first breach took place on June 23 at around 10 p.m. when Mnangagwa, who was watching TV with his wife, called the police officers after hearing unusual noises coming from the ceiling.

The officers surveyed the house and the perimeter but saw nothing suspicious.
