Ambassador Almassri Denounces the Genocide Against his People
The Palestinian ambassador, Dr. Tamer Almassri, strongly denounces the 94th day of the Israeli government’s genocide against his people. Benjamin Netanyahu and his far-right coalition are using the pretext of self-defense to drive out as many people as possible from the Gaza Strip, either by murder and mass displacement or by destroying the entire region and rendering it uninhabitable. All of this is happening within the context of an aggressive Israeli colonial strategy to eradicate the Palestinian cause and our people’s rights.
In this regard, the official spokesman for the Israeli occupation army declared that the genocide war by the Israeli forces will persist until 2024, during which time they will intensify their violent and bloody violations and crimes in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in hundreds of injuries and multiple martyrdoms.
“The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) has lost over 142 of its employees in the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip for the 94th consecutive day, which is the highest toll of casualties among UN staff in the history of the international organization. The Israeli aggression toll rises to 22,835 dead, including 10,000 child martyrs, 7,000 female martyrs, 7,000 individuals who are missing under the rubble and are presumed to be dead, and 58,416 people are injured since October 7.
“Aiming to hide the true scope of the carnage against our people, Israel has been waging war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, killing over 109 Palestinian journalists and media professionals. Based on international law, these kinds of actions are deemed crimes against humanity.

They will use every available tool to fight the Israeli occupation and establish their own sovereign state of Palestine, with Jerusalem as its capital. The Palestinian cause will never be eradicated by Israeli policies of settlement growth, extermination, and displacement; instead, they will fuel instability in the region and around the globe.”
