The annual Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo 2023 which is Zimbabwe’s premier international tourism showcase, will be kicking off from 12 October to 14 October in Bulawayo.

The Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo is a prestigious event that is organized by the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Tourism, and Hospitality Industry.

“The 2023 edition of Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo will beam the light on tourism and showcase the entire travel and tourism on center stage,” said Ms. Winnie Muchanyuka, Chief Executive Officer of ZTA. “We look forward to promoting Zimbabwe as an alluring destination for tourists seeking an authentic African tourism experience and highlighting the beauty, heritage, and hospitality of our land.”

Due to sustainable initiatives, better infrastructure, and smart alliances, the tourist sector in Zimbabwe has witnessed significant expansion and transformation in recent years. The Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo offers a potent platform to further highlight these successes and establish Zimbabwe as a top travel destination for travelers from around the world.

Muchanyuka urged the new entrants in the market to use the Expo as an opportunity to display and promote their companies. “We’re encouraging the up-and-coming players in the tourism industry who are having trouble getting access to the market to come and register as exhibitors and be able to use this platform to market their facilities to the broader tourism family and more so to the visiting international buyers.”

The Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo registration process for 2023 is currently available online. According to Muchanyuka, “Space is quickly filling up, so attendees are encouraged to register early to secure their place at this illustrious event.”
