The action begins on the morning of Wednesday 17 July with WWE NXT Episode 782. Ethan Page’s surprise triumph to become NXT Champion earlier this month at ‘Heatwave’ has shaken up the title picture, but Page himself believes that it was destiny all along.
“People seem surprised,” said Page. “I am not. This was my plan all along. Getting to the top of the mountain in NXT is just a step on the road for me. This title represents the start of the Ethan Page era.”

Saturday 20 July brings Episode 1300 of WWE SmackDown. The team of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, known as #DIY, claimed a legendary triumph over A-Town Down Under earlier this month to win the WWE Tag Team Championships – and they are determined to have a long title run.
“Winning these titles is the first chapter of the story,” explained Gargano. “And that’s a great achievement, but we want more. The next part of the story is to be fighting champions and defend the belts whenever called upon. You can trust us to do just that.”
Tuesday 23 July will feature Episode 1626 of WWE Raw. ‘King of the Ring’ winner Gunther has started a war of words against Damian Priest ahead of their World Heavyweight Championship match at ‘SummerSlam’ early next month.
“I will bring dignity and seriousness to the World Heavyweight Championship,” said Gunther. “Something that has been missing since you [Priest] took a shortcut [cashing in a Money in the Bank contract] to win it. I’m going to take that belt, because I am the only one truly worthy of it.”
