Khaya Arts won the provincial finals of the Chibuku Neshamwari Traditional Dance Festival in Bulawayo. Sizwe Sabatsha finished third, followed by Bambanani in second place.
These groups will compete in the national finals, which will be held on July 27, 2024, at Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo. The festival is known for celebrating Zimbabwe’s rich cultural heritage. The event will feature a star-studded lineup of performers, including Jah Prayzah, Killer T, and Tocky Vibes.

The Chibuku Neshamwari Traditional Dance Festival 2024 edition reaches its climax, and excitement is palpable. After nine thrilling provincial competitions with one more to go on Saturday, the stage is set for the National Finals at Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo on July 27, 2024.

Bambanani in second place
The journey began on May 27, 2024, with provincial competitions that showcased an array of talented dancers and it drew significant crowds, creating a buzz among music enthusiasts and generating valuable sales opportunities for hosting outlets.

Sizwe Sabatsha finished third
The top ten groups from across the country are now gearing up for the ultimate showdown, vying for the coveted top prize. The Finale promises to be an electrifying experience, with performances by renowned artists Jah Prayzah, Killer T, and Tocky Vibes.
Mashonaland East will be represented by Nyaungwe Dance Group (Mbende). Matabeleland South will have Bolamba Setapa. The winners of Matabeleland North, Pezhuba Pachena Nsumbuke Dance, will also battle for the crown.
Mashonaland Central winners Dzimbahwe Nengoma (Chinyambera) will fight to bring the prize to their region. Last year’s host, Harare, will be represented by Culture Warriors (Dinhe).
