Alick Macheso, the leader of Orchestra Mberikwazvo, is leading his group to Mvurwi on Friday for his yearly visit.
Macheso typically travels to Mvurwi during the massive Shamwari Joe Hotel’s tobacco sales season.
According to the band’s publicist Tich Makahamadze, the group is prepared to greet fans in Mvurwi and the neighboring territories.

“It is that time of the year when we visit Mvurwi to meet our fans as per our own norm every year,” Makahamadze stated.
Owner of Shamwari Joe Barbra Mukombwe remarked that hosting Macheso is always a delight since he fills the place.
“We are ready to host Macheso we know the place will be packed and we are honoured to have him at Shamwari Joe,” she stated.
“Everything is now in place of ice cold beer,braai packs and a good parking space.”
Macheso, meanwhile, travels to Mvurwi and Guruve once a year during the tobacco harvest.
