A 37-year-old woman from Tsholotsho has been sentenced to 350 hours of community service after being found guilty of assaulting her daughter-in-law over gossip allegations.
The incident took place on November 9, 2024, in Sipepa. The accused confronted the victim at her homestead, accusing her of spreading rumors. In a fit of rage, she attacked her with a switch and a knobkerrie, leaving her severely bruised and swollen.
