Raunchy dancer Beverly Sibanda, popularly known as Bev, has announced a shift to a more reserved lifestyle, distancing herself from the drama that once defined her public image.
As the leader of the Sexy Angels dance group, her name has been synonymous with drama. However, in a recent shift, Bev is redefining her public image, seeking to leave behind the chaos and focus on her craft, signaling a new era of maturity and professionalism.
In an interview following her recent performance at Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison, where she entertained inmates alongside musicians led by Sulu Chimbetu for a meet-and-greet ahead of Prisons and Correctional Day on Saturday, Bev expressed her desire to move past her controversial reputation.
I’m not limiting my shows; I’m performing every week. There’s just less noise now.
I no longer want to create drama. I want to focus on my performances. But if provoked, I won’t stay quiet,” she said.
Bev emphasized her commitment to staying out of unnecessary conflicts, stating, “These days, I tend to remain quiet about certain issues,” she added.
Her appearance at Chikurubi reflects her ongoing engagement with diverse audiences, signaling a new chapter in her career.
By prioritizing her performances and embracing a quieter, more focused persona, Bev is poised to redefine her legacy in Zimbabwe’s entertainment industry.
