In a Statement released by the Palestinian Embassy in Zimbabwe , the number of Palestinians victims killed has reached 73 since the beginning of 2023, while injuring 26 with live bullets, in addition to the targeting of homes and the destruction of property.
The statement added that Israeli occupation forces used helicopters and drones during the horrific massacre.
“The bombing of homes with rockets and explosive shells is an all-out war and destroys everything including the prospects of peace in the region.
“Apartheid Israel is choosing the path of escalation and it should take the responsibility for the consequences of its choices and repercussions of this conflict”, reads the statement.
Palestine calls on the international human rights organizations to condemn this crime, to hold the occupation authorities fully responsible for it and for all crimes committed, and not to allow the perpetrators to escape punishment.
It further says that International community cannot and should not tolerate Israel’s deliberate policy and practice of using lethal force without regard for limits set by international law.
“We affirm the right of the Palestinian people to continue their struggle to end the occupation, obtain their freedom, and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital” , said the statement.
