Poptain’s camp has announced plans for collaborations with artists from various countries during his upcoming tour. The chanter recently unveiled part of his performance schedule and released a new song titled “Unodhakwa Nei,” featuring Silent Killer.
His tour kicks off in South Africa next month, with additional stops planned in the United States, Australia, the UK, Jamaica, New Zealand, and Dubai.
Leon Ibasa, Poptain’s booking agent, shared insights about the tours, noting that they have been a valuable experience for the artist. “The revenue is increasing, and we are pushing our boundaries. Poptain is highly ambitious, and we plan to collaborate with artists from each country we visit,” he stated.
The South Africa show will mark Poptain’s first international performance this year, and expectations are high for a successful start. Ibasa emphasized the importance of establishing a solid market presence before expanding further, stating, “We have a lot to offer this year.”
The collaboration between Poptain and Silent Killer on “Unodhakwa Nei” marks their first joint effort, released alongside a music video. They reflected on their initial meeting in 2015, where they pondered the potential of their partnership. “After getting into the studio, we realized we could create something special, and now we’re excited to see it trending at number 10, with fans celebrating our collaboration,” he added.
