NetOne, Zimbabwe’s leading telecommunications provider, has launched its Recharge and Win Christmas Promotion, a festive campaign designed to reward subscribers with exciting prizes and enhance customer engagement during the holiday season.
The promotion, which runs from December 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025, aims to celebrate the festive period while providing customers with the chance to win airtime, solar kits, and other valuable prizes. NetOne’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Raphael Mushanawani, highlighted that the campaign is a way to show appreciation for the company’s loyal subscribers.
“NetOne subscribers are more than just customers—they are part of our family. This promotion reflects our commitment to bringing people together and giving back during this special season,” said Mushanawani.
The promotion is divided into two key components designed to engage and reward participants:
- Recharge and Win $20 Airtime: Subscribers who top up their accounts with a minimum of $10 USD within a week (Monday to Sunday) will be entered into a weekly draw. Each week, 100 winners will receive $20 worth of airtime, which they can use at their discretion. Winners will be selected randomly, and each participant is eligible to win only once during the promotion.
- Grab A Ticket Raffle: In a bid to engage customers at a local level, NetOne is hosting the Grab A Ticket Raffle at high-traffic locations across its five regions. To enter, customers must recharge their accounts with at least $10 USD during the week of the raffle draw. Prizes include solar panels, full solar kits, branded merchandise, and $20 airtime, with up to 20 winners per raffle event. The raffle will be conducted using an air-blown machine to add an element of excitement to the process.
Mr. Learnmore Musunda, NetOne’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the importance of the promotion in fostering deeper connections with subscribers. “This promotion not only rewards our loyal customers but also encourages active engagement with our network, helping to build a sense of community.”
In addition to the rewards campaign, NetOne is also using the festive season to give back to the community. Through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the company has provided essential items such as groceries, clothing, and school supplies to underprivileged families across the country.
